Yep! Works for the middle and right mouse buttons, too.

I used it recently to change the font size to ‘Unreadable’ and it indeed was, unreadable. Wonder why that options exists.

To search very long texts by the "text shape". Same idea as some popular editors show on the right, next to the scrollbar:
