Thanks to all the HN upvotes in December, open source hardware crowdfunding site Crowd Supply reached out, and is hosting my campaign to sell a Wyldcard DevKit.

With a JS or Rust SDK, purchasers will be able to program their own games to take advantage of the new mechanics Wyldcards unlock.

Pretty cool to see how recognition from HN turned into such momentum. What are the other great examples of this HN effect?
My friend's company got the interest of investors, and was acquired, after his blog posts got to the top of HN three times in as many months.
