InvokeAI's infinite canvas feature is also an excellent Photoshop-like SD tool.

I think I might look into this before installing such a large photoshop plugin. Thank you for mentioning it.

I always wondered how people were getting good art out of AI, and the answer is compositing. Great. Thank you.

Yeah. img2img and custom models/submodels are also really important, as they can coax out the composition and style (respectively) you want.

Nothing for Gimp?

It looks like there are a couple of those, though I haven’t tried them yet.

Heads up: you need Photoshop v24 or higher for it to work. Found out the hard way after troubleshooting for 20 minutes.
