Not really, they need inflation to devalue money so they can pay off their foreign and domestic debt.
Here. I fixed it:

Big Corporations are overextended (e.g., empty office buildings; buying up real estate; loss of customer base; pushing out tech that fails; import everything > sustainable manufacturing). Rather than take the huge $$ loss, they are pushing it off on us, the consumer. The result is a widening gap between "the rich" and "the rest," as "the rest" have no jobs, no money, no land, no food, no healthcare, no social security/medicare...

As we're moving to a global currency, the wealth gap will continue to increase.
