A few minutes ago my Politician Market submission was the top item on HN. Now it's on page 2.

Is there a mistake in the ranking algorithm?

Probably too many people flagged it.

The most likely explanation is that it was getting flagged by people who didn't like it.

You should probably email directly rather than post. At least that's been the recommendation in the past.

I wouldn't be surprised if people were flagging it based on the tedious discussion in the comments, tbh.
