An overwhelming majority of full-time RVers don't drive that much. When your RV is your house (and not just a way to vacation), there is no rush. Long haul drives are draining, and you pass by tons of interesting places. Among the full-time RVers I know, slow travel is the norm. You spend more time in the places you particularly enjoy, and mosey toward a different place or climate when you decide the time is right.

Actually based on real disappearances. Of course the story has to be dramatised for the book ,but the stuff that actually goes on on cruise ships can be far worse than the book

Plus there are plenty of potentially interesting people to talk to...and shrimp. Lots of shrimp.
If it weren’t for the fact being sequestered into a limited space with that many random people would make me lose my mind I would consider it.
