1. Manish Sisodia which is a senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party and very vocal against PM Modi, was arrested on February 26 by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the allegation of corruption and in Jail since then. [1]
2. So far they haven't found an iota of evidence and no trail of money to Manish. Today they had the hearing in court for bail, and citing "lack of time" court simply moved the hearing to next date March 21. Which means they will get to keep him in jail for 10 more days. [2]
3. Because CBI has no evidence and the first case will eventually fall flat, another agency has stepped in and arrested him for the same case. So once he gets bail from first case, they will be able to still keep him in Jail due to second case. [3]
