StayFocusd an app to help people with focus issues block distracting websites has updated it's privacy policy. It now defaults to collecting user browsing data.

From the new privacy policy:

  The App extracts the below-listed [...]:
  
  - your IP address;
  - the Generic ID;
  - your device type;
  - your browser version;
  - ads displayed in your feed;
  - your country;
  - your birth year;
  - usage data (collectively the “Collected Data”).

  =Purposes of Processing=
  
  We may use your personal information for the following purposes:
  
  - to operate, maintain, debug, and improve the App;
  - to send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
  - to respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;
  - to monitor and analyze trends and usage of the App;
  - to monitor and analyze ads;
  - to power Sensor Tower products available at app.sensortower.com;
  - to use in training of neural networks and artificial intelligence;
  - for scientific and academic research purposes; and
  - for any other purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

P.S. I'm currently looking for a comparable product that doesn't use my browsing data for ad targeting. If you have an alternative product please let me know.
