As a developer and info sec engineer it seems like ChatGPT could allow a single engineer to take over the work of 2-3 dozen engineers in the near future. What is the best way to prepare to take advantage of this technology?

Become an expert and experiment with various LLMs to see what works, what doesn't, what capabilities are possible under what conditions. Intuitions about how they can be useful will bubble up naturally.

Pay attention to what other people are saying and doing.

It's still too early to say "how best" you can take advantage of them, but the curious will find answers sooner. So be curious.
