A single dyno on Heroku can process a lot of hits if you tune it (joshcrews.com)

I recently added these two things to my Rails 3.1 app on heroku and it runs a lot faster. Took about 1 hour to add these things and homepage now loads in takes 6ms of time on the dyno to render.
