Ask HN: How do you find good programming/arch patterns?

For example, you want to see an example of a spring boot app with Kotlin with "real" authentication logic. Or you want to see what someone's "best practices" for a Next.JS app are. How do you find these? Right now I do some combination google search of "Nextjs best practices medium -tutorial" or scroll github search for 50 pages til I sense that a repo is real

Imho O'Reilly Learning has very good live events that teach just that by experts in the field, like Uncle Bob. The only downside is its prohibitively expensive monthly price tag. However, you might be able to get your employer to pay for it :) They also have nice Black Friday sales that lower down the price quite a bit. Good luck on your path to knowledge!

edit: They also have a massive collection of books that adds to its value proposition.
