That article is persistent criticism, but it only dilutes aruguments instead of showing counter evidence. The arguments reduce to, "it's complicated, we're on your team, he's just wrong, trust us."
This is a very good podcast with articulate critiques of popular politics and mass media narrative, and interestingly it is Seymour first interview after publication. I also enjoyed their last podcast episode on what is happening in Georgia, seams insightful and with trustworthy guest.
