Why is the button text white and barely readable?
OP here! I can read it fine, personally. There's a trade-off between shininess and legibility.
I was disappointed to see the lack of engagement here, as I think this is one of the more visually impressive front-end libraries I've seen (and I'm no spring chicken). I love the attention to detail, and even though we have seen a bit of a resurgence in textured controls on the web, nothing really like this. Most designers that put together the shiny textured buttons of the web these days are applying largely arbitrary shadows and gradients, but it takes a different level of effort to put something of this fidelity together. Nice work, OP! I'd love to re-create this in Figma.
