Meet HomeByte (<https://homebyte.com>) - your partner in the home buying quest. We aim to be a better way to browse and find homes than on Zillow / Redfin. We are available in 23 states today and are adding more every month.

We just launched Reimagine – an AI powered interior designer that allows users to experiment with different styles to transform any room. With this feature, one can visualize a living room in an industrial style or a kitchen in a rustic lodge style, among others. This makes it easy for anyone to explore the potential of a home they are considering buying.

To get started, you can: - Search for homes in your favorite neighborhood or city here - <https://homebyte.com/c/search> and click on the Purple “Reimagine this home” button on the home card. - On homebyte.com, specify the address for any home that’s listed for sale. This will load the listing page and you can now click on the Purple “Reimagine this home”.

I have a hard time seeing the potential of empty homes for sale when looking at the ads. This is very helpful.

I have been keeping an eye on HomeByte since its launch. And let me just say, I'm impressed. You guys have been ahead of the curve from the get-go. With your Reimagine feature, you're taking it to a whole new level. As someone who's been tracking your progress, I have to say, the transformations are nothing short of remarkable. It's like having your own personal interior designer in your pocket.

I recently bought a home and had to spend a lot of time with a professional interior designer to explain the interior ideas that I had in my head. However, I was not fully satisfied with the video model, that the designer prepared, as there were problems in conveying my vision.

I so wish that I had your website a few months back. It is quite nice. This understands what I want clearly, and helps me play with various options almost instantly. If one has worked with some of the outdated interior modelling tools, they will understand what slowness pain, I am referring to.

Super cool, and I didn't have to wait long to get a decent remodel. Any behind the scenes on how it works / is put together?

Thank you! We use a variety of Stable Diffusion models in the backend to power Reimagine - with ControlNet, Inpaint and Depth2Img with the later being dreambooth’ed on home interiors, the diffusers lib and using the latest UniPCMultistepScheduler - which makes it faster. We are currently running this on a NVIDIA T4 on a single node.

Would be cool to have an ‘onion peel’ effect on the images when you drag or mouse over to reveal the original

Do you have any plans to monetise this? I’ve seen other sites that make a pretty penny with a similar concept

Yeah - will look at adding that as an alternate view esp on mobile - I sorta like the side by side view on desktop at the moment.

Not at the moment - we want to try and give (many design visualization challenged folks like myself) consumers the ability to be able to see what a home might look like in their own style / possibilities at the moment.

Congratulations on the launch of HomeByte and the Reimagine feature! As someone who's currently in the market for a new home, I can definitely see the value in being able to experiment with different interior design styles before making a purchase. The AI-powered aspect of Reimagine is particularly impressive and I look forward to trying it out for myself. Excited to see what other innovative features HomeByte has in store.

I have made an iOS app to achieve something similar https://gepettoapp.com/en We have great results / rendering quality which is really appreciated by realtors.

Is there a possibility of linking/embedding actual furniture and decor for sale in the reimagined output? Is there a way to estimate the room measurements from the photo with any accuracy, so I can size up what will fit there?
