My country is currently experiencing a lot of illegal logging (and the other problems that come with it).

I found about Rainforest Connect [0],[1], and how they are using deep learning to detect illegal logging in rainforests by means of sensors installed in the forest canopy. They report to have sensors in the Osa Peninsula, but the problem is more widespread in my country according to the linked news article. The coverage area needs to be expanded greatly.

Do you know of other projects that allow you to build your own sensors and hook them to their system? Like how FlightRadar24 allows you to share data with them, for example. I think that allowing people to hook their own sensors could help to expand the coverage to more of the affected areas.
