Microsoft Teams Redesigned (medium.com)

Finally! The UI is quite cluttered! I still hope that we’ll get a lightweight version in the future as well

IMO Teams' biggest issues are:

- Very heavyweight. I've seen newish i7 + 32 GB RAM laptops having performance troubles with the desktop app.

- Very unreliable. Things like notifications not working, messages and images not appearing, etc... Have happened several times intermittently over the years in my company.

I've been using WhatsApp and Telegram for personal stuff for over a decade and can't help to notice how much more reliable and bug free they are, even though neither are targeting business user bases.

The redesign looks good, less cluttered. But did they really improve performance? Teams is a pig right now. Only time will tell but we can hope.

Hope a macOS version comes soon!
