How about Congress makes some actual laws about social media and data use and if TikTok violates those they can ban them?

That’s not just misleading, it’s an outright lie. No fan of the act, but the screenshots he’s posting are the part of the bill that defines the types of technologies that Commerce can scrutinize in order to make a determination as to whether the feds will order financial divestments (either by a foreign entity from a domestic entity, or vice versa). There’s nothing in it even close to what he’s alleging, and either he knows this and is deliberately lying, or he’s incompetent and shouldn’t be listened to.
