Ask HN: Does anyone have a second remote dev job on top of their main one?

Given the hyper efficient documentation search that is chatgpt, I feel like I can easily knock out code for a second remote job in the spare time I have off my main one.

Is there any way for companies to find out that I am double dipping, and can they do anything about it?

Make sure your employment contract doesn't disqualify you from doing so. Unfortunately, some companies attempt to lock you in from working elsewhere simultaneously.
