I see gpt as a second pair of eyes that you can ask specific questions to and it usually gets it right. But you have to think of it like your asking a busy senior: ask specifically what you want, with only the relevant info you have in question. It may have been better to ask it to make a timer class apart from your app and then tie it in on your own.
