I was about to reply to https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35440852 asking if they believe there are many people under ~20 who are on HN, but what better way to find out than to do a poll for the community?
Hmm, over 95 years old and still read HN? I would admire the mental ability of such a person. I think by the time I am 95, I will probably be dead or have my mind so degraded I can barely read. Comprehending techs like AIs would be so beyond me then.
Its possible, my great grandad recently passed away at well over 95 and was still making new ham radio projects at least couple times a month. Granted, his hands were no longer steady enough to solder himself but he could still draw the circuits and tell someone what to do. It was common to see him "space out" through every family social gathering only to dart to the basement as soon as it was over to build what he had been planning in his head the whole time. I think his not-so-secret was just to never stop doing it.
