This project aims at making the creation of rich interactive maps easy, with no compromise on the visual quality.

A goal is also to export the final SVG as lightweight as possible, with no dependency on external libraries, which are usually needed to have interactive maps on a website.

Feel free to explore the examples (the “examples” dropdown at the top-right) to explore what is possible to design with CartoSVG.

Indeed, good catch! The boundaries are taken from the CGAZ release of geoboundaries (https://www.geoboundaries.org/downloadCGAZ.html) project, so it may be resolved in a future release
