Just a small fun anecdote:

I left this link the other day to a script on my Github and got 40 new stars[0] but only 15 upvotes.

I was pretty shocked and would have expected way fewer stars than upvotes, considering upvotes are a private show of interest while stars are public. Has anyone noticed other similar or surprising trends?
