Most readable, low eye-strain colorscheme?

I suffered a pretty bad concussion and ever since I have become quite sensitive while looking at my screen. I wanted to know if you all have suggestions for readable colorschemes that won't strain my eyes over a long period of time. Something pleasing and easy on the eyes.

I use neovim and JetBrains IDEs.

Thanks!

High contrast themes are the only thing that have worked for me (black background, bright foreground). I also use keyboard shortcuts in my IDE to increase/decrease the fontsize if I'm really having trouble focusing on text.

Although I have noticed that no matter what I do nothing beats eye strain better than taking a break away from the screen, if that's possible.

Solarized dark has been the easiest on my eyes in both light and dark rooms
I need the opposite of what solarized tries to do. So default VsCode themes are ok, light/dark depending on the room brightness. To be honest, with dark themes almost everything works, I prefer Dracula still.

Aesthetically I enjoy the "almost monochrome" themes, but more colors just work better for me.

Not a direct answer, but last year I got a 13" eink second screen and it's been the best investment I made for my eye health since getting glasses. The difference was noticeable from the start, at the end of a day without the eink screen my eyes feel tired, similar to sand in your eyes. After a day of using the ink screen my eyes feel a lot better, still relatively tired, but like the tired you get at the end of a day not in front of your computer.

Here's the screen that I got, it's pricey, but in my case was well worth it: https://shop.dasung.com/products/dasung-e-ink-paperlike-hd-f...
