i wonder if most people know this stuff, and if they do, if it would change their voting behavior. i'd guess it would change _some_ votes, but not enough. but prob worth it to keep trying.
there are prob at least 5 other things about deterring crime that would not be suitable to list on a government website because they would talk about the actual roots of crime -- which the 1% would not like.
