To me so far, the GPT hype seems like a large scale version of Asch experiment. I have ChatGPT (and some of its alternatives) multiple times, and everything it has outputted to me was subtly broken, even on simple request (ie. make a search bar component in react). Yet, everyone on HN claims it has led them to 10000x improvements in productivity
