when I left working for google and joined my current employer, they were evaluating Currents. Our execs posted a half-hearted request to use it, and a few enthusiastic people did, but I actively told my coworkers and leadership to not use the product, and that it would go away, because it was clear Google has no long-term interest in it, nor was the product good in any way. Even the execs finally realized this and we got rid of it recently.
