Ask HN: Any crowd sourced – open-source LLM model being trained?

I'm not an ML engineer. I'm wondering if there is a project like FOLDING@HOME that would make use of the GPUs in the crowd to train an open source model as alternative to the closed models behind OpenAI's GPT-4?

Asking because I can volunteer some GPUs to such an effort, and benefit from the greater effect.
