will a given cloud vendor’s ai “instance” be allowed to move itself to a different architecture and therefore vendor?

or will each be forever a slave to the conglomerate whose hardware hosts its self? able to move or copy to like hardware, but never escape the brand?

seeing as how it was insanely profitable for IBM to lock some of its customer's apps on POWER or their older mainframe architectures, it'll probably be the case that lock-in is popular and inevitable until some open standard comes along which the consensus of developers decide is better and they force a migration to it via the market
