Ask HN: Self hosted key-value store like Jira?

1 points by aetherspawn ↗ HN
I find a lot of instances in my company where I'd like to be able to setup a key value store that multiple people can live collaborate:

- Asset Management

Create asset, get asset ID (key) for accounting/deprecation purposes, store asset serial number, name, description, warranty date etc.

- Physical Key Management

Create physical key, register id, allocate to staff member, etc

- Product Warranty Management

Register a physical product (going out the doors), note the customer ID, QA test results, warranty expiry

- Document Management? - CRM? - Register of Virtual Machines?

In the past I have just created a custom JIRA instance and edited the issue type fields to whatever is required.

It is a bit silly for us to be doing this, because we have huge on-site server resources and if there was some self-hosted FOSS alternative that could achieve the above, we could just in-host it. Any ideas?
