Tell HN: ChatGPT is insane to translate code from one language to another

Well maybe it's obvious to the ones who've used it but I have not seen any post on the subject yet: ChatGPT is absolutely insane to move entire chunks of code from one language to the other.

For example I've been migrating a old website I've writen in PHP into a python / fastapi / jinja website and the speed at which I can convert entire php functions is magic. I don't know how much this can be useful day to day but now you can for example take a algorithmic StackOverflow answer in a language and move it almost instantly in another.

Of course sometimes it makes mistakes but honestly less than if I was migrating the code myself.
