The Russian Air Force has been very much active. They have not achieved air superiority because their planes generally cannot deal with anti air setups. But they’re still using planes and helicopters frequently.
Yeah they just bombed a random street corner and then immediately admitted to it, uh, for TEH EB1LZ clearly. This makes a lot of sense and is definitely how the world works.
I shouldn't have to remind you that cartoon villains are not real and only exist in cartoons.
False flag attacks are very much real and are pretty well documented in this very war. They are generally not well executed and come off as very obvious. At least by Russia.
This incident does appear to be an accident however.

True, cartoon villains aren’t real… of course in the case of Putin we’re talking about a verifiably real villain, so not entirely sure what your point is there.
Also all we know right now is that the brass said it was merely Russian military incompetence that happened, rather than an intentional act, however motivated, by the pilot… though I’ve got a funny feeling he’ll trip out a window before speaking up I’d really like to hear from the pilot, because — I dunno about you — but seeing a Russian military leader admitting a mistake just seems fishy on its face.
What am I looking at? There seems to be a fairly small impact at first, and then a huge underground explosion later. Some sort of bunker buster? The delay seems quite long.
