It was worth reading TFA to the end for this nugget:

So, it sounds like their “holding facility” was a warehouse that had part of the space rented out? That doesn’t seem like the best place for your secure storage of valuables.
Damn stealing 20 million dollars worth of gold reminds from an airport reminds me of the final heist in GTA V.
Made me think of the scene from Tenet where they pretended to steal gold from airplane.

Then I read the text - and it seems even more like the movie.

I bet we will be seeing an “inspired by real events” movie about this.

Thieves going around stealing gold bars and maple syrup.
