Elementary particles like electrons are atoms in the original (Democrits) sense. Modern "atoms" were so-called because they were originally thought to be elementary.
are electrons made out of... electron? surely electrons are made out of electron-stuff. If they are not composed of any sort of thing, then they don't sound like any of the things in real life which we can say, up until electrons, are composed of something more minute. If "materially" it's not turtles all the way down I wonder what that means.
