Jeff Thomas's story deserves to be told. That said, I'm personally not in favor of the "kept" partner rhetoric, as it is sensationalizing someone's death.
The article itself is legitimate. Ideology in practice carries a blast radius. This facet is less often discussed in large public forums (i.e., the blow back associated with supporting strategies that directly, negatively impact the groups in which one is included via genetics). Instead it's swept under the rug, or "flagged for removal."
Whether or not this post disappears, I'm glad I saw it and followed the link (minus the crummy title).
