Ask HN: When filming, how do we prove that the video is real?

This could be a government agency or two people on a dating platform, wanting to do something while filming that proves it's authenticity.

Maybe they could: - Have multiple cameras so the video must match in every perspective. - Use determistic light arrangements, like a monitor standing behind the person in the with a video of changing QR code timestamps.

Maybe any VFX artists out there can talk about their worst nightmare.

I'm curious to hear your ideas

I guess perhaps the easiest would be that each personality has a website where he can sign (using his private key) his appearance in some media at a given time and for a given duration (using the hash of the media, or some QR code embedded in the media)
That doesn’t prove a video is real, only that the person claims it is. The point seems to be be that the one watching could verify by themselves.
I think there's some news agencies working on this, though they're mostly of the form "this digital file existed at this point in time" I think.
