Honestymeter is a new free open source tool for bias detection and correction, and objectivity evaluation in media content. It gives an objectivity score, finds manipulation technics used and suggests changes to reduce the bias and make the content more objective.
This is the first AI project to actually give me pause and envision a world spiraling out of control. This is asking AI how we should think and if it were to catch on gives a rather terrifying amount of power to the AI and the people behind the scenes. But realistically it is probably no different than what we have now and the sort of person who would ask an AI how they should think is already farming that out anyways. Status quo for the win, disaster averted.
