Maxmind will be requiring email or security key 2FA
Beginning on Wednesday, May 3 we will be requiring two-factor authentication for all logins to your account. This is part of a phased roll-out which will require two-factor authentication for all MaxMind user accounts. This will help to keep your account, and your access to MaxMind data, secure.
If you have already enabled two-factor authentication using a security key [as in physical hardware, they don't support TOTP] for all users on your account, nothing will change. Learn how to set up security key authentication for your account on our Knowledge Base.
If you do not have two-factor authentication enabled for a user on your account, email two-factor authentication will be enabled for that user by default. Please make sure to check all account users and verify that they have a correct email address on file. Learn how to update your users’ email addresses on our Knowledge Base.
