Someone supposedly from Meta reached out to me today. A lot of the hiring freezes seem to be mostly public relations or only for certain types of roles.
It just means the recruiters haven't been laid off. I'd be very careful about devoting time to their interview process right now, it might just be a charade to keep the recruitment staff occupied.
