Imagine if a producer listens to a bunch of songs by A Famous Artist and then writes an album of songs with a similar style (music and lyrics, but no samples or exact duplicates). Then they get somebody who sounds almost the same as the artist to record to songs and then release it.
As long as you don't claim to be the original artist and don't directly copy their music or lyrics there is nothing illegal about singing in an almost identical style.
If it's legal for a human to do it, no reason it should be legal for an AI.
