It looks like Let's encrypt has problems with their OCSP repsonders.
We had problems with connecting to https://apt.kitware.com through apt to install/upgrade cmake in various in-house docker images and we tracked down the problem to this.
If you are getting OCSP errors out of the blue, this might be the reason.
