Show HN: Open Weight Database: outdoor gear inventory to help prepare treks (openweightdatabase.org)

Hi HN! When preparing my treks & trips, I find it usually boring and annoying to weight everything and report it in a spreadsheet. I ended up always losing the spreadsheet, and it was difficult to share it with friends and other people.

So I ended up creating Open Weight Database, a free/non lucrative/open-source website that aims to list outdoor gear and their weight, in order for people to easily list and prepare their backpacks/pulks/donkeys. For now, the inventory only contains approximately two dozens of items, so not very much (only the gear I currently have).

I hope you'll find this site interesting (or in the best case useful), and if you want feel free to contribute to the project!
