Well, no. I was a NetBSD user until 2001, when I switched to Linux. I've never used Windows except when required by my employers. I was curious if Microsoft would let you pay to avoid ads.
Dude i wasn't a windows hater until a few weeks ago. Normally i dual boot my pc to play games on windows and work on my linux installation so i dont need to think about windows almost never.
Anyways i bought a laptop for my parents and its been stressful to deal with W11, the amount of ads and crap apps installed and the sluggishness of the ui feels horrible (This is not a low end device it has a gen 11 intel processor) and still sometimes the ui is slow as molasses. But the top of the frustration is that i can disable "Secure Mode" because the prompt that is supposed to allow me to disable it doesn't work
