It's a bit above mass media pay grade, but it'd be interesting to know if the average tenure in CA is declining . That is people are choosing to stay there for less time. the bay area (perhaps much of CA) has had the promise of come give us your youth in exchange for opportunity and great weather/lifestyle, and you can take away wealth elsewhere for purchasing power arbitrage.
