Ask HN: Anyone set up iCloud Security Key with a USB-C based iPad?

Hi everyone, I cannot find any reliable information on this online. Some places say USB-C iPads work with YubiKeys, and the official documentation says it works _sometimes_. Does anyone have a USB-C iPad and successfully set up iCloud Security Key?
