Ask HN: How to get into top companies with no blue chip names on CV?

What are other signals one can provide to big & emerging tech companies that make up for and possibly exceed the value of having blue chip names on your CV?

I'm finding that despite co-founding a startup with a successful exit, companies are almost top-level filtering on blue chip experience.
