The most surreal part of the generative AI functionality to me is the use of the text prompt itself for "programming" the response. My programmer mind wants it to be a flag of some sort, or a specific set of options similar to role, temperature, etc. Not just for JSON, but for any response type and context limitations. The idea that it's all contained in plain language just hurts my brain.
