Yeah if you prevent me from getting Alzheimers you can have all of my money. I literally do not care. I'll smile as I write the check.
yeah all my money won't be enough
It has been invented. Toyon.
Yeah it is in the Rose family. Produces pomme fruit. In that fruit there are, quite likely, compounds that can prevent the progression of Alzheimer's.

These compounds are anti-inflammatory agents that may protect the blood-brain barrier and prevent inflammatory cell infiltration into the brain. The dried berries were ingested by six volunteers to demonstrate the safety of the medicine. Conclusion: The plant medicine was found to contain several compounds that may be of interest in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The plant medicine was found to be safe.

There's been amazing hype/crash cycles about the next thing that will drive pharma forward every 5-10 years since the 60's. Hopefully, AI (representing more complex statistics with more data on more hardware) will do better than the last few. The non-linear modeling isn't new (look up Gasteiger's and similar groups) but the sheer amount of data and CPU power is impressive.

Hopefully, the models are stable and predictive. And that the dog doesn't up and die during development.
