Arm every teacher. There should be a 100% chance of at least one gun in every classroom.

Training people to be passive victims is stupid, let's stop it.

Not everyone is willing to pull a trigger. For safety I think it would be better they mount AI assisted machine gun turrets to the ceiling of the classroom.

So if it detects a gun it'll shoot the target without worry of hesitation or other forms of human error.

Arm every custodian, lunchroom worker, and admin too, they're in the halls while the teacher is in the classroom. Have one unit of shooting range in every year's gym class. A gun safe in each classroom would allow the teacher to arm the students (5th grade and up) when an incident breaks out. These would only be .22LR or .25, but 35 of those converging on a perp would serve them right.

School board meetings- better collect all the guns at the door, though. People get hot at those.

The awfulness in the article is the idea that it’s a positive thing for a kid to have this be a normal part of their routine because it leads to a positive interaction with an adult? Just wtf.
