Ask HN: Would a top-rated MBA mid-career help to break into Big Tech?

I'm an entrepreneur who cofounded and led product for a startup that was eventually acquired (at a modest price) a few years ago. Since then I've been consulting for and investing in startups.

I am now interested in transitioning into a product role at a Big Tech company with a focus on AI, Biotech, or Neurotech. So far, I have not had much luck getting interviews. I don't have the science/engineering background or the domain expertise to break into these fields yet, and am considering applying for top part-time MBA programs as a way to get my foot in the door.
