‘Verified’ Twitter accounts share fake image of ‘explosion’ near Pentagon (cnn.com)

Some stupid people believed something on the internet which would normally be a non-story but it fits into a legacy media narrative so they jump on it to somehow try and blame their competitor. Which is ironic because they're essentially spreading misinformation which is the thing that they feign being horrified about when random people posted fake stuff on twitter.
